The most underrated feminine virtue: mental rest in Christ

Hello, friends.
I am elated to be sending this email, because included within is a copy of my brand-new ebook, Unburden Yourself: Cultivating Feminine Virtue and Internal Peace by Letting Christ Carry Our Burdens.
This is my gift to all my premium subscribers whose support and readership help me keep the lights on here at A Homemaker’s Manifesto, especially through hard times as has been the case on our family homestead this year.
I just have to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your prayers, patience, and support, and I am so incredibly excited to begin a new year with you all, sharing what the Lord has done in my life and moving forward into newness of life together.
Unburden Yourself is the fruit of a new spiritual practice I have adopted over the last year that has revolutionized my faith and grounded me in my inherent femininity as God intended it.
This topic has grown so dear to me as I have learned to embrace the simple truth of scripture and creation above worldly or legalistic ideas of femininity and womanhood.
Too often, I believe we are approaching so-called “biblical womanhood” from entirely the wrong angle.
It is very worthless — and perhaps even dangerous — to approach biblical submission and femininity without daily surrendering our hearts to the Lord.
Many women out there are navigating how to submit to their husbands while fear plagues their heart. Others are trying to understand their worth as women according to what conservative culture says about who they are, rather than a firm theological understanding of femininity and womanhood. Still others are led into dismay by legalism and earthly-minded judgment over their pasts, not knowing on a core level the perfect Husband Who loves them and will present them as a pristine bride before the Father one day.
I felt led away from a more traditional “reading challenge” or step-by-step guide to spiritual or personal growth (although I’ve got more resources and booklists coming soon, it’s OK to love these, too!)
Rather, I’d like to encourage you all this year to order your thoughts and place Christ on the throne of your heart every day in 2024, which is exactly why I wrote Unburden Yourself.
So, if you’re ready to head into the new year with a fresh perspective on pursuing Christ daily in your life, upgrade to premium (discount coupon below!) or scroll on to access your FREE copy and please be sure to let me know if you plan to take up this “challenge” to give the Lord your mental load this year.
